NATURAL & SUSTAINABLE

TENCEL® is a particularly natural functional fibre that is extracted from eucalyptus wood. Unlike cotton, the production of which has a high impact on water and soil, TENCEL® offers numerous eco­logical advantages. The wood used as raw material comes ei­ther from sustainable forestry or from controlled plantations. The fibre production method itself is very environmentally friendly – a standard guaranteed by the use of a closed system, which en­sures that TENCEL® is 100% biodegradable.

BREATHABLE & HYGIENIC

CompeTence is more absorbent than standard cotton blends. The fibres have a smooth surface, ensuring an optimum feeling on the skin and preventing irritations. CompeTence is also ex­tremely comfortable to wear. Ideal moisture transportation guarantees the optimum climate for the skin, thus minimising the build-up of odour. CompeTence inhibits the growth of bacteria, without the need for any chemical additives.

DURABLE & HIGH QUALITY

CompeTence has been developed to meet highest requirements and for industrial washing. CompeTence keeps its shape, making it very durable, even when subjected to very frequent washing at high temperatures. It is the first TENCEL®-polyester knitted fabric to be certified in accordance with the Hohenstein quality stand­ard 704 and with PRO8 suitability for tumblers and finishers.
