1980
Foundation of Hero Textil GmbH by Hubert and Rosi Ulrich.
1984
Start of in-house production on an area of 100 m² with flat knitting machines for band production.
1989
Construction of a company building in the Flügelau industrial area in Crailsheim. Commissioning of circular knitting machines and a hot cutting machine.
1995
Relocation to Goldbacher Straße in Crailsheim.
1998
Introduction of computer-controlled circular knitting production.
2000
Hero Textil becomes a public limited company (AG) – with Christoph and Jürgen Ulrich as the executive board and their father, Hubert Ulrich, as chairman of the supervisory board.
2008
Installation of a professional merchandise management system, taking customer service and production processes to a new level.
2011
Successful product launch of the CompatiBelt, the first belt suitable for rental textiles.
2013
Move to the modern new building in Sulzbrunnenstraße.
2015
Under new management, consisting of Christoph Ulrich, Guido Günther, and Sascha Bertram, the company continues to expand.
2016
Expansion to 5,000 m² of production space. Acquisition of computer-controlled knitting machines and a new stenter frame.
2017
Hero surpasses the significant milestone of 50 employees. The management team is expanded with Anna Sophie Göggerle.
2019
Expansion of the modern machinery for finer articles.
2021
Climate-neutral company.
2021
Acquisition of Paul Uebel and KreativControl.
2022
Acquisition of REITEX CZ.
2022
First-time participation as an exhibitor at Techtextil in Frankfurt.
